dasko
Hello, If you had a site xyz.com and sales were slow and you wanted to try a second venture abc.com and sales were ment to be big could you A. share the same gateway as it would all go into the same bank account. B. load the details from your other slow site to the new site and use that instead? do you need to notify the merchant as the domain name is different ? cheers
Dh42
It all depends on your processor. Auth.net takes screenshots of your site and ssl certificate when they underwrite your site.
dasko
ahh ok so if you had a site going for a few weeks then switched it over it should be fine then without going through all the setup time frames again?
Dh42
I didn't say anything like that. Send them an email and give them a heads up. It shouldn't take more than a day or two.

Dh42
When I first started developing shops, I had a clients site on domain.net as a test server and was going to move it to domain.com when it went live. Auth.net would not underwrite their account until it was on domain.com. So Yes, I have been down that road.
