Need some help quick!

Recommended Posts

Hi Prestashoppers,

I used to run a successful Prestashop store at Callium.nl (selling consumer electronics), but a few days ago my FTP account got hacked and some kind of virus put strange iframes inside my webshop containing the gobbler virus. I took my website offline immediately, but due to some changes in the code by this virus my Prestashop is not functioning anymore. I think it can not be repaired anymore.

Is it possible to backup everything, do a clean install and then import the database and all my settings, products, clients and orders? I really need your help and if you are able to fix this, I am able to pay for it :-)

Please let me know your solutions to this problem!

I have all files including database, languages, modules and such backed up on my computer. Maybe it is an idea to just do an upgrade or something?

Grt.

If you had it backed up first then its no problem to re upload via FTP, if you dont have a recent backup then your host will have one for you. just delete the online one and replace with the back up verison. Dont forget to change your FTP uname etc and dont store on same pc as store.

@ John

I wish it was that simple. I actually don't have a full backup on my computer, so all the system files and folders are not there. What I have backed up are the following things:

- My MySQL database
- My translations
- My modules
- My themes
- My custom images
- My config and .htaccess file

Is it possible to restore my Prestashop store with these things?

I am trying to do it here www.froox.nl, and everything seems to be working out except for one thing: I can not login my admin anymore. I've tried changing the password through PhpMyAdmin but it wont'let me in for some reason. Maybe it has something to do with the wrong URL/domain being in my configuration? Where can I change the URL of my prestashop install so it won't redirect to the wrong domain?
