LLeon
Hi, I want to become an affiliate for several independent stores which provides me with their own feeds. I am wondering if its possible to use xml product data feeds in back office using PrestaShop? The site will also have no shopping cart since the customers will be directed to the actual store if clicking on a product. So I ask, is PrestaShop the right software for me? Thank you for your time Sincerely LLeon.
Dh42
I cannot think of a way without significant modification that it would work for you. But at the same time I cannot think of any software that would do that.

Dh42
Well most shopping cart software is made for people wanting to sell something, you are not actually selling anything.
LLeon
I will be providing customers with a large number of products from a large number of stores. It just sounds weird that this is not possible in prestashop. Its kinda like dropshipping. But thank you for your time anyway
Dh42
Prestashop can handle drop shipping no problem. But I don't know anything that can handle what you are looking for.
LLeon
Too bad, I guess my project is too complicated for the plug and play softwares then.
Dh42
Prestashop has a pretty well developed module interface. If I were you I would spec out everything I needed and get a custom module made for it, then you could have every feature you wanted and would not have to compromise. LLeon
That`s a good idea! Do you know where I can post a request?
Dh42
I would post it here, http://www.prestashop.com/forums/index.php?/forum/76-paid-modules-themes-job-offers-services/ there are a lot of developers on the internet that think they know Prestashop and actually don't. By posting it here, you can check peoples profiles out and get a better feeling about them.
