hubbobubbo
Hi My cart always displays free shipping if the user is not logged in. This is very confusing. I think this problem has just started, I do not remember it happening before. The only thing I have done today is playing a bit with a Cart Rule offering Free Shipping but that rule if deleted. When I log in, the shipping cost is applied as it should. Anyone has a good idea on why this is happening. It does not make sense that it shows Free Shipping for a new customer and then changes to apply a cost when he registers his account during the checkout. hubbobubbo
Ok, the problem persisted after removing the plugin from the transportation company but after reinstalling the shipping plugin it seems ok again. Wierd. Ideas on why this might have happened are appreciated in case it happens again.
moneeeka
Hi, I also had the same problem and was able to fix it just now. I realized that my default country does not have a Zone tied to it. I fixed this by going to Localization --> Countries and editing the default country and indicating a zone. This way it can now calculate for the shipping rate even if the address is not yet indicated when the user is not logged in. Thanks.
