havasuwebdesign
This is one of the errors my clients get when they try to add a product. The other girl working on the site is getting errors anytime she adds, changes quantity on the site. She has cleared her cache and restarted the computer. I, the web designer, get no errors when I add the product or change quantities. I don't know what to tell the client. If anyone has a solution or suggestion, it would be greatly appreciated. This is the first time I have used Prestashop and all these errors are baffling.
Site
Do you get any error logs on your webserver? What version of Prestashop? What web browsers? Edited December 16, 2012 by Site (see edit history)

Site
Looks like a few files are missing, have your tried to reupload "/home/purplele/public_html/js/jquery/plugins/ajaxfileupload/loading.gif"
havasuwebdesign
No, I tried to upgrade when the site was in development and I took the whole site down and had to pay someone to fix it. Where would I find the .gif file so I can upload it and would that solve this problem? Also do you know what this mean... File does not exist: /home/purplele/public_html/298-656-small_default, That is the repeating error. I had 15 of them in the error log.
Site
The files will be in the original Prestashop zip file. Make sure it's the same version as the one you have installed. With regards to File does not exist: /home/purplele/public_html/298-656-small_default The images for product number "298" are missing ... Revise the product and reupload the images Edited December 16, 2012 by Site (see edit history)

havasuwebdesign
I am able to change quantities and save without any errors but my client keeps getting the errors. The email I got this morning was that the girl working on the site error'd out everytime she changed a product and that Prestashop completely shuts down on her computer too. I will have her reupload the images and will post again if that doesn't work. Thank you
Site
Does she have full administrator permissions like you? Same web browser?
havasuwebdesign
OK, I changed the quantity of an item and got the error same as the first one I posted So then I went to upload the image and I got an undefined error. I hit hte back button and it logged me out. After I logged back in, I was able to change quantity and upload picture. This is really weird. havasuwebdesign
Could this be a token problem?
Site
Hi, it could be, Make sure you always use the "domain.com/login" with nothing trailing after it... No bookmarks should point to a specific page in the admin panel
havasuwebdesign
OK, I use domainname.com/adminxxx and it redirects me to this: http://purpleleopardboutique.com/adminxxx/index.php?controller=AdminLogin&token=f99c27f25b6872ede05d3234f94e4d66&redirect=AdminHome

havasuwebdesign
Ok, here is what I found out. I error'd out on a specific product on everything I tried to do. I read earlier about the character limit on the description. So I removed text from short desc., ran it through notepad and reentered it and it saved without error. Do you know how to up the limit on the short description?
Site
Are you copying text in from word into the description? It may have hidden formatting gaining extra hidden characters? The short description is there for a short description and should therefore be enough? To increase the characters you could modify the database to handle more characters? havasuwebdesign
I told them to copy in from notepad. I don't what else to tell them. They are constantly getting errors.
havasuwebdesign
I have confirmed that this is the short description. The database lists the type as text so I can't it there. This character limit has to be set somewhere in the files.
