[Solved] install script can't work.open index.php will download the index file

Any guy could help me.

my hosting is ixwebhosting. they say they support php5 but after i upload all the files. do install. both  install/index.php or  doamin/index.php  will only down the index file.

its interesting that right now i work the install show:

 

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}'

This error is definitely a result of not having PHP 5 installed and activated.

 

I checked out the ixwebhosting Website, and according to their FAQ, they only support PHP 4.

 

To use PrestaShop, either ixwebhosting will have to upgrade to PHP 5, or you'll have to find another hosting service that does use PHP 5.  Ixwebhosting will soon have to upgrade anyway: according to php.net, development on PHP 4 will cease in a few weeks (see "PHP 4 end of life announcement" on their homepage).

They told me need update my plan to another cpanel. Or purchase another plan.Their new hosting plan support php5 now.

I had installed on my another hosting. now

I'm surprise that all the files are only 1.8M !!!
