Hi,

What is the size of the background?

I want to add a picture as a background but I don`t know what size it has to be.

the width of the content (left/center/right columns) is 980px

if you talking about the sides it depend on your screen size, there is no actual size set in the css.

I recommend using a 1920px wide image to cover all screen resolution, just make sure you set css for full coverage.

that's a tricky question.

the height of the page is depending on the modules you have shown on page & the product description in the product page ... so the height is vary.

just run couple of test in different screen resolution. (a wider image can catch most screen sizes without being stretched)

global.css and if you need to make grid changes grid_prestashop.css

 

as to height, why not just make your background image fixed? I'm no expert but that seems like it would work...

Thanks a lot. I tried, it works. But I changed my mind . I`ll try to set a background only on the left and right side.
