Bill Dalton
Trying to test using the shop with SSL, I have 2 domains pointing to the shop. Cert is installed and working for domainb I’ve setup Prestashop 1.5.2.0 and correctly set the domaina and domainb and turned on SSL. Everything goes great in the backend. There are a couple of different places to setup SSL but I’m confident I’ve found them all. The front end however is a different story. When I go to the cart 2 problems, 1. The images and CSS files can’t load because they are not called as https A quick look at the source code of the result page confirms that all photo and CSS is http only. 2. Items in cart are gone, Your shopping cart is empty. I’ve tried turning friendly URLS off. I’ve tried this work around, without success http://www.prestasho...-prestashop-15/ I’ve cleared all cache and deleted all cookies. Turned off Combine, Compress & Cache Any info would be great. Bill Dalton
I just switched to using one domain and that cleared up the "Your shopping cart is empty" problem. The problem remains, Images and CSS files can’t load because they are not called as https.
Bill Dalton
The images and CSS are not loading because I'm use 3 media server domains. When I go into SSL the main domain is HTTPS but my 3 media domains are not. Is this a bug? It would be nice if I could use my media servers where I need them but have them turn off when we go to the cart. Really they are not needed during the checkout process. Anyone else run into this problem? Edited December 12, 2012 by Bill Dalton (see edit history)
Bill Dalton
I went to report this as a bug, but it already was reported and rejected. This is the normal Prestashop. It was actually written this way. http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFI-5415
