Is there an easy way to add another homeslider?

Hi, I already have an instance of homeslider at index, but now I want to have en extra slider at products page, but with different images.

I was thinking about how to do that, because I could duplicate the view of the main slider, but I want this second one loaded with different screens, so I will need another module with it's own configure page.

Is there an easy way to do this?

Hi,

It can be done, but you will have to

1- duplicate and rename the module, with all the table associations within it

2- edit the associated class files if comes with any 8and I recall it does)

3- add hoks to the product page instead of the home

it's a bit tricky overall, you have to develop a whole new slider. I usually prefer starting from scratch in theme cases!
