jmthd
Recently, my site's shopping cart seems to have broken. Whether logged in as a user or not, after adding an item to the cart, then clicking elsewhere or refreshing, the cart becomes empty. In the back office, I can see the carts with items in them, it just doesn't stick on the front office. I've seen similar issues posted for other versions (closest was here: http://www.prestasho...ing-cart-empty/), but the solutions mentioned have not helped. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I would appreciate any help you may have. jmthd
The site isn't live yet... I could allow you access by your IP if you'd like. Edited December 12, 2012 by JoshMeyer (see edit history)
El Patron
does your site switch between www and non-www when you lose your cart?
jmthd
No, it stays at www.
jmthd
At this point, would you guys say I'm best off reverting to a backup where the cart worked (and redo some other work that was done since that backup was made), or do you think there's still hope? tomerg3
Unless you are or have a developer, falling back could be the best option.

jmthd
Couldn't I just replace the blockcart files and/or DB tables?
tomerg3
I dont think it's related to the block cart module, but you can try...

tomerg3
There does not seem to be a site on the URL now, so we can't really have a look.
jmthd
Ok, I've enabled the shop temporarily (it's still in development), but you'll have to use the following to access the domain. Thanks! URL: coreworkapparel.com USER: [removed after issue solved] PW: [removed after issue solved] Edited December 15, 2012 by JoshMeyer (see edit history)

jmthd
Well that sounds like great news. I've seen where clearing browsing data has helped others with this issue, but I've done that so many times by now and tried 4 different browsers. If that's still the issue, I should be able to figure this out...
jmthd
Uh, embarrassing. It works fine for me now too--because the SHOP IS ENABLED NOW. I'll leave this up for any other buffoons with the same issue.

jmthd
It was in maintenance mode--that's what the issue was.
