dcman007
Hi, I'm trying to work out how to add more than one cms block to the left column. I have gone into the modules section in the back office and located where the original cms block is but I can't see anything to let me add an additional one. I want to create a new CMS block that will let me add an image in at the top of the left column on my store page. Any help is appreciated.

greenone
If you are adding an image you won't use the CMS block but you would use Block advertising because the CMS block does not allow a image. First go to Modules>Advertising & Marketing>Block Advertising to see if it is installed Once installed the click on Configure and select your image file, link, etc. Now that you have done that you need to tell the Block Advertising module where it's position is on the webpage. Go to Modules>Positions (this is where all the webpage positions are) Scroll down until you see Left Column Blocks You need to transplant the Block Advertising module to the Left Column Click on Transplant (top right corner) From the drop down menu select "Block Advertising" From the Hooks drop down menu scroll down and select "Left Column Block" Click Save. View you shop. Block advertising now appears in the left block. Now if you want to move it to the top of the Left block, when in the Positions page, click on LiveEdit (top right) The home page will appear. In the top right of the block, click and hold where the 4 green arrows are. Move the block to the top of the left column and hold it there for a second or two. A red shaded area appears which means that the block will be placed in that area. Drop the block there. View your shop You can also move blocks around from left to right columns, up and down, just wait for the red shaded area to appear first.
