hubbobubbo
Hi I have a basic Prestashop site but there has been some problems with that my theme changed a lot of modules and I basically just want to change the theme but I prefer to do a clean prestashop installation and apply only the new theme so that everything related to the old theme is removed. So, which things do I need to save to keep my products, categories etc. I do not want to keep any modules or things like this, only my product information, images and all the things I have added myself. Is it enough to make a backup of the db from the backoffice? Should I copy some folder with images? Is there anything else I must make sure to save? The domain, server, folder etc will be the same as before. Thankful for any advice so I get this right. benjamin utterback
Hello hubbobubbo, the database may have changed when the theme was installed. It is best to use the database and files from a backup.
