dEX2018
When installing Prestashop, I receive the error message: "An error occured during installation... Create default shop and languages" Please see the attached printscreen: http://imageshack.us...prestashop.jpg/ I've done some searching. After receiving the error I have installed the latest revision from http://svn.prestasho...branches/1.5.x/ (as another user reported an issue and this might be the solution: http://forge.prestas...owse/PSCFV-3544) and uploaded all the files to my host. I first removed the original files of version 1.5.2. It then said that the install folder was not present. So I have also uploaded all the files from 1.5.2 version again (without overwriting existing files, to keep the revised version). I have also used another table prefix than the proposed one (ps_). I have used presta_ without success. I have always deleted all the existing tables before retrying. I'm installing it on Windows 8, in Internet Explorer. Will try Mozilla Firefox now ... Is there a write issue on PHPMyAdmin? Many thanks for your help. Edited December 9, 2012 by dEX2018 (see edit history)
spaceman
I'm experiencing the same problem installing 1.5.3.1 on to a Microsoft IIS 7.5 server (whether using Firefox or IE). I get the following message: Cannot copy flag language "C:\...\httpdocs\install/langs/en/flag.jpg => C:\I...httpdocs/img/l/1.jpg" Is this info dEX2018's post the correct way to fix this? Thanks Scott Edited January 7, 2013 by spaceman (see edit history)
