Need to add html for site lock badge on front page

I have been trying to add the site lock badge to the homepage of my site and cannot find a module that will accept the small snippet of html code. I pasted it into a product description and it works there, but does not display on the homepage, only when that product is opened. I then tried to paste it into the module "home text editor" and I get an error when I hit save. Any suggestions?

I normally add it to the footer.tpl file. More than likely it uses javascript and you will have to put these tags around it

maybe you need to turn force compilation on? Go to the preferences -> performance and turn force compile on - then reload your page. If you've got troubles with turning it on, or if you don't know where to turn it on, read this: force compilation in prestashop
