Simple header change to theme

Hi,

 

im new to editing prestashop and was hoping to get some help with a simple theme change.

 

where would i add images/links to the header under the currency dropdown menu? i would like to put the social network links there.

been playing with header.tpl with no luck, any help would be much appreciated.

Hey there,

Ideally, you should create a module and hook it to the "top" hook. Of course, you can hardcode it, but it can be a mess.

If you create the module, be sure you place it between the currency and top menu (I am assuming top menu comes last).

 

The reason why it can be a mess to wirte it directly is because the top menu module (usually) closes the "header_right" section in the header, thus preventing you from adding things there after a certain module
