StitchJunkie
When I created my downloadable products, I originally set it up with a quantity of 10. (Since these are downloads, I really have an unlimited number available, but didn't have that option to code)Now that I've sold a number of them, how do increase the available quantity? Is that possible or do I have to put in a new product when one is sold out?http://www.gingerbreadtearoom.com/product.php?id_product=
StitchJunkie
Anyone out there? GRIN. I rechecked. Prestashop catalog product creation doesn't have an option to put in unlimited number of items available. Requires at least a "stock level" of '1'. How can I restock since I sell a lot of downloadable products? .... or do I have to create a new product when one is sold out? Do you get an option to relist the item after it has 'sold out'? San Diego
you can update your stock level in the backend - catalog - this product - than race your stock again to 99999is that what you mean.sdor you simply allow purchasing when out of stock
StitchJunkie
Right, I'm attempting to raise the stock level in the back end, however won't let me edit the "Quanitity".I have it set to orderable when out of stock, however it would look better if it didn't say 'out of stock' in the front end. StitchJunkie
Most of my digital download items allowed me to put in a Quantity of "0", then put in "Always Available" which displays since I allow orders when out of stock. Displays very nicely!! This issue is SOLVED! There were a couple that wouldn't allow me to edit the Quantity. I guess after they have sold down to "0" quantity, the 'Always Available' default will display. Looking much better. Thanks for your assistance! Now if I can just see all my back office category pages so I can complete my postage/shipping build. Then I can begin putting 'physical' items on my site.I'm unable to see any of my categories or subcategories in the back office if there are more than 20.I don't seem to have the ability to see page '2' in the back office. purplywurply
Where can you put 'Always available'?I have exactly the same issue with my download items and the only way I can find to get round it is to make 99999 available. If I set the quantity to 0 then there are 0 in stock - can't see the 'Always available' option.
