Prestashop as a solution - where do i stand?

Recommended Posts

I am probably be daft here but a) I am hoping this is posted in the right place and b)someone can help me so i know i am doing the right thing.

There is a high demand for store fronts at a forum i am a member of and i would like to offer an ecommerce solution to them using Presta Shop

What i would like to do is offer a store front solution and list the features blah blah, for a token fee (barely anything - basically my time to install and set up for them and customise the design)

My question is whether i can and cannot do this and when i can and cannot use the Presta Shop Name. I would like to say at the bottom of the description that "Our ecommerce solution is based on Presta Shop, an open source Ecommerce Software" with a link?

Thanks for your help!

Well I wouldn't see why not. That's how it's usually done whether it's wordpress, joolma, oscommerce, magento or any other piece of open source software. If you spend time installing, adding products, and customizing it you charge a fee for that.
