Add new label in backend

I'm adapting the view.tpl of the AdminCustomersController.php. Therefore I would like to add a label 'Related Customers' in the view.tpl. As I see, labels are called with the function {l s="Related customers"} but where can I change the value of the label (because I want to alter it in Dutch).

 

I've read on this forum that automatically the label is added and in the backend you can choose for Localisation -> Translations, then you choose the backend in the dropdown en click the flag of the language you want to alter, but I don't see my label in the total list (and every label is filled in correctly, I don't get a message of empty labels for the language)..
