SOLVED Prestashop 1.5.1 problem with instalation Edited November 26, 2012 by Solutions (see edit history)
Raimu
I had the same problem with Prestashop 1.5.2.0. Every step had worked fine until step 5 when installation stopped exactly at 63% (while installing the modules). Being not a professional, my range of solution trials was certainly limited (reset database, rename of prefix, increase CHMOD rights) but I knew that installations of previous versions had worked fine with my host and my present configurations. A comparison with a former installation (version 1.5.0) shows that the following tables have not been created: ps_cms_block ps_cms_block_lang ps_cms_block_page ps_cms_block_shop ps_favorite_product ps_homeslider ps_homeslider_slides ps_homeslider_slides_lang ps_linksmenutop ps_linksmenutop_lang ps_newsletter ps_pagenotfound ps_reinsurance ps_reinsurance_lang ps_sekeyword ps_statssearch Just mentioning it in case this might be of importance to anybody. I "solved" the problem now with returning to previous version Prestashop 1.5.1.0 - installation works quick and smooth as it should.
benjamin utterback
Hello Raimu, I suggest that you download the 1.5.2 version again. Sometimes you have a bad download file, it is rare, but it happens. 1.5.2 should install fine. Also, 1.5.2 fixed many previous issues and is a updated release. Furthermore, 1.5.3 will be released in the next two weeks, you can also be on the lookout for that.
