Online Office USA
ALL of the 1.5 versions in a word are horrible! I have been using PS for over a year with great and wondrous ease...for the last two months I have been battling with this platform TOOOOO much. I just downloaded Magento and I am leaving PS behind. I can't stand it any more. Who in the name of all that is coded properly gave the thumbs up to release anything after 1.4.8? Can't do it anymore...good luck to the rest of you! Dh42
1.4.9 is production stable. My clients did almost 100k in transactions yesterday with only about 4 transactions messing up. I personally won't use 1.5 yet, because I am a developer and I have to fix all the issues that would arise. Rollback your install to 1.4.9 and you should be fine. If you think Magento is going to solve your problems, good luck.

I'll give that a go...believe me I'm not jumping for joy at the thought of a new learning curve w/Magento etc. Thanks for the good input!
Dh42
Good, it is a pretty stable release I haven't noticed too many bugs in it and the ones I have are pretty small.

Thank you very much...you've kept me from acting hastily and probably making a brash decision. But I kept that download of Magento just in case hehe... Dh42
Magento is just to overly complicated for me. I actually tried it out to see if I wanted to add it to my resume of things I develop in and it was just to overly complicated and arcane to me. Well I'm uploading the 1.4 version now so we'll see how I fare from this point forward. Thanks again and I wish you the best!
clayton29657
Hello Online Office USA I must say I also use 1.4.9 and I really have had a lot of good results in using it. Before the upgrade I used 1.4.5.1 and that was also great. Of course any software you use will have issues but in 1.4 it should be a whole lot easier for you. I will not upgrade to 1.5 until I know it's a lot more stable. Alot of people think they have to upgrade or want to use the multi shop etc. but until it's stable I would stay at 1.4.
