deepee
Hi All I've picked up some serious trouble after upgrading to 1.5.2.0. After an upgrade to 1.5.2.0 everything seemed to be working in the tests I did on the local XAMPP site before uploading it. Everything seemed to be working after uploading it but then I had a call from a customer to say they couldn't get past the shopping cart summary page when they clicked the "next" button. In firefox the error is reported as:- Firefox can't find the server at mysite.com.au%2forder%3fstep%3d1%26multi-shipping%3d0. In Explorer I see:- https://mysite.com.au/order?step=1 There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address. Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server. We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this website. Click here to close this webpage. Continue to this website (not recommended). I got my host to check the certificate and it's o.k. They say it's a developer issue and to contact prestashop. SSL is enabled on the site. What's worse, I have picked up the same error in another less important site I uploaded last week. As with the latest site, everything had been working o.k. so I can't understand it. I've put many, many hours into this and would greatly appreciate some help. deepee
O.k. now this is weird.... I changed the one site's checkout routine in Preferences> Orders to "One page checkout" and it works without error. Problem is, I can't trust it as the normal checkout process was working fine before I suddenly got these errors. I hope someone understands what is going on to help me fix it permanently. deepee
I rebuilt this site on Sunday and the normal five step checkout was working again. I placed multiple test orders from different machines and received a couple of real orders and all seemed o.k. Checked again just now and got the same error "Firefox can't find the server at mysite.com.au%2forder%3fstep%3d1%26multi-shipping%3d0." I've submitted a bug report for this critical error but have had no response. I have completely lost confidence in the reliability of version 1.5.2.0. I'm losing money in the time taken to keep checking for solutions to multiple issues and the fact that customers can't order.

jcasub
Hello, in case this can help somebody we had this same issue and was caused by the module Custom Fields from Prestashop addons. We have desactivated and the 5 steps are working again. If you have installed any module recently, try to desactivate and check 5 step processcheckout is working again.
