Clean Tags/ Friendly URL; .htacess problems. [Images]

The URL is www.atelier-shoppe.com

 

I'm trying to make this site more SEO/SEM friendly but when changing to URL friendly tag's the environment couldn't understand the new linking points. If someone needs admin access I will happily give info over via email (for my security) or if you know the problem GREAT! I'm currently using Powweb.com for my service.

the .htaccess file changed from a .htaccess.txt to .htaccess

 

Help, I asked my server provider Powweb and they weren't aware of the problem asking if it was the 'solution'.

p.s. if you knew how to change from a euro currency to american that would be helpful I was inside the 'translation' tab but couldn't figure out the right mixture to switch it over.

For currency, you have to go into back office > payment > currencies then set the default currency into dollar.

 

It's not correct for the htacces file, it must have dot in front of htaccess.

Exactly. Change the name from htaccess to .htaccess

Hi I have the same issue. My provider confirms that suing friendly url's shouldn't be a problem but I can't get it to work.

 

I hope someone can tell us the secret.
