[Problem] Why building index stops at 33800 item

Indexed products: 33800 / 45072.

 

I have 45072 items in my shop.

When I click to 'Re-build entire index' it start from 1 and stop at 33800.

How I can solve this problem?

maybe it's a memory fault? have you got access to error log? maybe there you can find out answer for your question

And which word(s) I should search for?

logs mean error_log.txt - that's correct.

You must look for errors which corresponds to date & time of your works in back office

YOu're looking for PHP fatal errors / allowed memory exhaused etc.

Last night i tried to re-build index again.

Here is the error;

After I clicked to re-build, I followed up the result by refrshing the page and followed to 25000.

It took 2 hours and than I go to sleep.

Now it is 33792 / 45072.

Very close to 33800 again.

What I can do to solve it? I really need to solve it.

It might be a timeout. Did you check the php timeout in php.ini?
