Valérie Assetskaya
Hi, As it is a textual representation of archive in bz2 format, what is evident from the first bytes, to save it you can select Save as upon right-clicking on the link. Otherwise you can wait for page to be fully loaded with that content and then select option Save as in the browser and specify the file format as.Bz2 The most convenient way is to send headers: header ('Content-type: application/bz2'); header ('Content-Disposition: attachment; filename = "archive.bz2"'); to the script that renders this code. Best regards.
simpson7647
Thanks for the reply although that is very confusing. Usually the download would just come up but if I click the button to download, it moves me to that page and no download option comes up. I would just like this solved please so I can download the backup. Thanks,
benjamin utterback
Hello simpson, you actually do not need to do the backup this way. You can go to your FTP and copy all of your folders and files into a secure place, maybe it will be your desktop, or an E-mail server. Next, you can backup your mySQL database, usually by using the Cpanel.
simpson7647
Hi, Many thanks for the reply. Okay I did complete a 'roll back' which has put my website back to how it was around a year ago, not good. Luckily I've been able to download my most recent backup and now just need to know how to restore the website to this downloadable version. Please help me how thanks,
