flipjargendy
(Until this is solved, my phpInfo() is being displayed at obnoxium.com) So, I've uploaded everything to my root directory. When I goto my domain I get this: Automatically redirects to: /install/index.php Giving the following message. Quote 500 Internal Server Error The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request. The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log. Thanks for any help you can provide! This is my first time using PrestaShop. I am a freelancer, looking for a new eCommerce CMS solution to provide my clients with. If only I could try PrestaShop on my server! SteffenL
Hello, With the little knowledge I have, I would make sure that: in the (root)/.htaccess file, all of the paths and domains (if applicable) are correct. in config/settings.inc.php, _PS_DIRECTORY_ (Prestashop 1.5) has the correct path. If you you still see the same error, you could try to enable PHP errors by setting display_errors to 'on' in config/config.inc.php. flipjargendy
Thanks for the help. After contacting my web host customer service, they pointed out that I can install this with one click through my cPanel. I never noticed they have this thing called "SimpleScript" that installs a ton of CMSs automatically. Anyone who uses Netfirms for their hosting solution, thats all you need to do! SteffenL
Oh, it seems like I had misunderstood the situation a bit (thought you were moving the site or upgrading it), but I'm not sure if I would have been able to help you doing it the hard way anyway! I'm glad you got it sorted out!
