multilabel
Hi, I set all the shipping zone and relative $ value for Weight (package) . And I also created the shipping rules for the product at 0.22Lb I have not created any combinations. I have Assign features Weight (I don't know which is the one that actually sync with the carrier?)! So the shipping price is set in the cart to the maximum value even if I set the value by Weight (and the price for just one item is not the highest of course! So why the Carrier do not recognize the Weight of my product and show the lower shipping price instead? Also, I'm forced to set an handling fee in order to avoid the Free shipping in the cart section? Thanks PS: If I find a way to make the shipping price to appear correctly, the shipping price will be set based of customer delivery address before allowing customer to click the paypal button or they go straight to the paypal checkout page with a wrong shipping price? So is Logically the shipping price be entered before checkout? Because looks I can pay before register and elect the shipping address. So this is very confusing to customer. benjamin utterback
Hello multilabel, Thank you for the thread. If you could please let me know what version of PrestaShop you are running. How can I replicate your issue?
GlamAng
Hi. We are having a similar issue with our shopping cart. We have updated to Prestashop 1.5.2.0 and for our first purchase after the update, the shipping was not charged. I went into the back office and basically deleted all parameters for shipping and started fresh just to make sure that there weren't any errors translating from updating the software. The problem we are encountering now is with the shipping price reflected in the shopping cart for payment. We have no weights set, as our shipping is set by price value. The shipping is via La Poste (we are in France) and the value sets for shipping are in increments of 25€ (0€ min.-500€ max). I created 5 shipping zones (france metropolitaine, and then zones A,B, C, and D) which are congruent with La Poste zones for shipping within france and all international locations. This is the result. When I tested by placing something in a shopping cart and then going to the checkout page it is automatically setting the shipping value at the highest shipping price for the region, regardless of the value of the items in the shopping cart. What we do know is that the region is correct, but that it is not recognizing cart value for calculating shipping. Please, please, please we need a solution for this! and Thanks in advance
multilabel
Last Version installed 3 days a go. PrestaShop™ 1.5.2. I like to know How I can make the carrier figure out the product weight. Actually the cart set the highest price only + the handling fee. So, I set the 3 weight from 0.00 to 0.22 / from 0.23 to 1.10lb / 1.2 to 2.75lb After I set the price for all the zones. I also set the weight in the product : Width (package): in Height (package): in Depth (package): in Weight (package): lb and in the futures too: Weight --- 0.22 2.1oz (60g.) under shipping : According to total weight unselect free shipping in carrier( trying to fix the cart problem) and Status: Enable carrier in the Front Office Apply shipping cost: Apply both regular shipping cost and product-specific additional shipping costs Tax: No Tax Shipping & handling: Include the shipping & handling costs in carrier price Billing: According to total weight Hope this can help you to determine and fix the bug. Thanks a lot Mark Edited November 19, 2012 by multilabel (see edit history)
benjamin utterback
Hello multilabel. Have you also configured your price and weight ranges for each carrier? You would need to do this, even if the range is a large one with arbitrary numbers. For example, 0-99999 lbs
