Creating a store before DNS propagates?

I've just signed up for hosting service and I have installed Prestashop before changing the nameservers at my registrar (hence the DNS has not propagated yet obviously).

 

So right now, I'm working in the temporary URL given by the hosting company: http://IPaddress/~username.

 

I'm working on this new store thinking that when it's done, I will just have to change DNS and it will be ready to work

 

So, is it safe to work in that temporary URL? or I will have to change configurations later when I change the nameservers/DNS?
