geodeath
Hi, i am running prestashop rc1, still to update, i am scared i might get into other problems yet. While the shop works, when i click on a product to go to its description, below the descriptions it outputs: Warning: Smarty::include(C:Inetpubvhostssarafidis.grhttpdocseshop/tools/smarty/compile%%3C^3C8^3C880464%%category-tree-branch.tpl.php) [function.Smarty-include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:Inetpubvhostssarafidis.grhttpdocseshoptoolssmartySmarty.class.php on line 1877 Warning: Smarty::include() [function.include]: Failed opening 'C:Inetpubvhostssarafidis.grhttpdocseshop/tools/smarty/compile%%3C^3C8^3C880464%%category-tree-branch.tpl.php' for inclusion (include_path='.;./includes;./pear') in C:Inetpubvhostssarafidis.grhttpdocseshoptoolssmartySmarty.class.php on line 1877 Warning: Smarty::include(C:Inetpubvhostssarafidis.grhttpdocseshop/tools/smarty/compile%%3C^3C8^3C880464%%category-tree-branch.tpl.php) [function.Smarty-include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:Inetpubvhostssarafidis.grhttpdocseshoptoolssmartySmarty.class.php on line 1877 Warning: Smarty::include() [function.include]: Failed opening 'C:Inetpubvhostssarafidis.grhttpdocseshop/tools/smarty/compile%%3C^3C8^3C880464%%category-tree-branch.tpl.php' for inclusion (include_path='.;./includes;./pear') in C:Inetpubvhostssarafidis.grhttpdocseshoptoolssmartySmarty.class.php on line 1877 I am not sure what it is. Searching the forum i saw that in another post, giving writting permissions to the tools/smarty/compile folder solved such a problem (which i ran into as well) solved a similar case but i am not sure what to do right now. The server is windows based but up till now i had no other problem. Would updating to rc2 actually benefit, or should i best wait for the final? Peter Wilson
Hi geodeath, Have you upgraded to RC3 yet? We strongly recommend doing so, as many bugs have been fixed since RC1. Give it a try (follow Upgrade instructions here) and let us know if you still get the same errors.
