jhnstcks
I already reported this as a bug http://www.prestashop.com/bug_tracker/view/2057/ but was told it was a permissions issue on my server, even though I originally reported the the permissions were correct (which they are). Try submitting another bug and linking to my one, and this thread.

smoke2
I believe the problem is with my script. The thing is, I can upload pictures when i install prestashop but after a while it will not let me.It happened to me 3 times with 3 different installations of prestashop.I think the problem is with new modules I'm installing, does it make any sense? Daniel Medo
smoke2: you can try presta v1.2 alfa2 and report if there is still your error with that version.I reported one problem with uploading images and it was fixed in the new version. You can see bug report here:http://www.prestashop.com/bug_tracker/view/1369/
smoke2
DanielAs I said I can upload images after installation, only after a while something gets wrong.that means that it is possible to upload images in v1.1.Maybe some of the modules I am installing causing this problem?I will test version 1.2 alfa. do you know if it is compatible with themes and mods for PS 1.1? weaselbringer
if you upload “images.inc.php” from the latest beta release on this site and overwrite your old one, it seems to fix the image upload problem
qasrani
Why do not you try to keep on uploading images without installing extra modules, just for test. See if problem starts after extra module installation, check which module was the latest.
joedenoble
have to make sure all folders on img directory are set to 777. Not just the p folder but also the c one and all the others.I set the c folder to 777 and it worked for me
rocky
You should use chmod 755, not chmod 777 for directories.
