Installed 1.5 - 1.4 broke

So I decided to try out 1.5

Bad idea...

 

My live shop stopped working as soon as the installation was finished, I COULD reach the backoffice, but saw no headers.

 

I recognized the behaviour since I once before trashed the Swedish version of my shop and yes, when I checked the db all traces of Swedish had vanished!

 

So I found PS_LANG_DEFAULT in ps_configuration and set it to 1 and the shop went up, albeit in English.

And, in user preferences in BO, I could set the language to English and now the backoffice works too.

 

Now, if this isn't a bug then I don't know what is. Why in the WORLD do the installer mess with DB-tables that have nothing to do with the installation???

 

I was going to fire up a store with only Swedish, would such a store have crashed completely?

 

I've been with Prestashop since 2009, but I don't know if I dare continue after this...
