integrating prestashop with my current website

Hi All

 

I'm looking at putting an ordering system on my website. I want to click a link from one of the existing pages to go to the prestashop part to fulfil the ordering aspect. I just wanted to know if this was possible before I start messing about with the current site. also can this be done in dreamweaver? My apologies as this may sound stupid but I haven't actually downloaded the software yet.

it's not as simple as it seems, because it's not only html language - but also php scripts with mysql queries.

It's possible of course, but it isn't easy to create.

Sorry, I think I wasn't clear. What I meant was it is a very obvious thing to do - to install in a subdirectory with a link - are you saying installation in a sub also requires a lot of tweaking?
