Adrian02_de
Hi, because of template problems I started my new 1.5.2 shop from scratch. Now I want to export all products from my old shop (1.4.9) and import them into the new one. What´s the right way to do this? Is there a tutorial? Perhaps I´m blind :-) I want to import everything. The whole catalog. Pictures, descriptions, ... ... Thx for your help! Adrian Edited November 15, 2012 by Adrian02_de (see edit history)

Site
Hi, Have a look at some of the modules on the Prestashop Addons site http://addons.prestashop.com/en/search?search_query=export+products
Halfy
Hi, There are few more options except using modules. But before proceeding with any of them make back-ups! Really, it can save your store. The first option is to use PrestaShop autoupgrade and take your store from 1.4.x to 1.5.x. The tool is unstable (make back-ups) so you will have to spend some time to make it work. If you will succeed then follow this instruction on how to upgrade via phpMyAdmin. The other option is to use third party service like shopping-cart-migration.com. It will move your entire catalog, generally without any problems (but make back-up, just in case). It may take some time, depending on how much products you have.
