sosella
Animated PNG's are supported by only Firefox among the major browsers. Are Animated GIF's supported by Prestashop? In particular, I would like the home page image (homepage_logo.jpg in the coton theme) to be animated. What is the best solution for Animated images? Dh42
I think your best bet would be to hardcode the logo in.
sosella
As in modify one of the PHP files? Which one?
Dh42
It would be a .tpl, it you would modify the header.tpl file to have the image linked in statically.
sosella
I can't believe I am the only one who raised this issue. I can't easily use a GIF file for an image? Seriously? I have to edit a .TPL file? What the heck is a .TPL file? And where is header.tpl? This a terrible user experience.
Dh42
I think a lot is lost when ease of use is added. The easy platforms like shopify, big commerce cannot support the functions that Prestashop does. It is a powerful platform capable of running just about any kind of shop. I think the main reason that this is left out would be that it is considered bad design practice. It also doesn't support he blink or marquee tags either.
