Pinback
Hi, I'm using Prestashop 1.4.6.2 I've installed a new Theme (O-Fringue). Installing procedure went fine. That's what I did after then: Select my favourite "ofringue" Theme as default (Preview-Screenshot appears) > Save Settings Test > Shop ("default" Theme is shown) Backoffice > Choose Menu > Configuration information > Current theme in use: "default" (even if I chose another Theme) Independent from Theme Settings (see above) nothing changed! I Cleared the Caches and Compiles via FTP under (I left index.php untouched) > ServerRoot/prestashop/cache/smarty/cache/ > ServerRoot/prestashop/cache/smarty/compile/ I empty the Browser Cache and deleted all Cookies So, that's it. I hope you can help. Time is running fast..because the new Shop is a Birthday Gift for my [spam-filter] ;-) Look here.. THX 4 HELP!!!! benjamin utterback
Hello Pinback, is the selected Theme available to choose in your BackOffice ? (Other than the default theme?)
Pinback
Hi Benjamin, thanks for your quick response! That's how it looks like in my Backoffice (see attached Screenshot). As you can see, the Configuration Information shows Current theme in use: "default" - even if I choose the "ofringue" Theme before. I'also set all Permissions to chmod 644 and 755 (as like as the "default" Theme). Changed nothing. Pinback
tdr170
Ok the main issue is that I see you say you are using 1.4.6 but the images that you uploaded are from 1.5, also the page your link connects to is a 1.5 version of Prestashop. It's strange that the version says 1.4.6 when this is definitely a 1.5 back office. Here are a couple of snaps to show the differences, look at the top menu. ---------------- Edited November 14, 2012 by tdr170 (see edit history)
Pinback
Hi, I guess you're right. I see the Information from the Provider: Prestahop Version 1.5.0.17-1! But why does the Configuration Information shows 1.4.6.2? Based on this information today I bought the Theme (off cause compatible only < 5.0). I bought it at Prestashop...any chance to get my money back? Pinback
tdr170
Who installed this you or your provider. You could try to install 1.4.6 or 1.4.8 and install your theme then upgrade to 1.5. Or just install version 1.4.8 and go with that, this way you can use the theme you puchased. You can download all versions of Prestashop here http://www.prestashop.com/en/developers-versions scroll down and you will see Prestashop 1.4 open with the + and choose a version to download based on the compatibility of the theme don't go higher then 1.4.8. If you do not know how ask and I will help
