[Solved] Lost my categories in the shop

I have no idea why but I have lost my categories in the shop there are in the admin but not the shop I have relaoded the original css ant categories tpl but it is gone! help please it is a nightmare

I had setting to 0 for the levels and that was the issue

That is tricky. I have tried this and it worked for me:
1. uninstall module category from BO
2. delete module category from module folder
3. upload module category from a working version of prestashop where the category list shows up correctly to folder
4. install module from BO

Also try from the module configuration changing the level to something bigger than 3.

someone also suggested to replace prestashop/category.php with one from a working shop instead doing all this or after but it didn't help me.

I managed to have them back just by not setting the default to 0 as it will not show up...
