Problems trying to install. Prestashop gets hung up at 58%.

I just set up the latest version of Prestashop at my host Lunarpages.com. Everything went real slick. The other day I moved my site to a new host - fastwebhost.com because they offered an inexpensive dedicated IP address. Problem is Prestashop won't install. It gets hung up at 58% and has done this about 10 times now.

 

 

PHP parameters:

Can open external URLs ? NO

Is PHP register global option off (recommended) ? YES

Is GZIP compression activated (recommended) ? YES

Is Mcrypt extension available (recommended) ? YES

Is PHP magic quotes option deactivated (recommended) ? NO

Is Dom extension loaded ? YES

Is PDO MySQL extension loaded ? YES

 

I have read thru the forums but can't find a simple fix (I am not a coder. I'm a farmer.) I have contacted my new host and am awaiting a response. I don't feel confident that they will be able to help though so I thought posting here would maybe get me an answer. Thanks for any assistance I must receive.

Hello paradis, if your hosting provider can not find a solution for you to be able to install PrestaShop, then you would need to take a look at the Server Error log and see if that can give you more information.

 

You moved your site to a new host without first installing PrestaShop on the new host?

Thanks Ben. I finally got a hold of my new host and they fixed the problem. I appreciate your help.
