Can't locate products in the back office

I have started to manually upload products to the presta shop back office but once I leave the page or go back to the list they seem to disappear. The products are showing up on the front end of the shop but I can't edit or find them in the back end. I've seen a few people have had this problem and have tried changing

 

a line in the config.inc.php file

 

define('_PS_DEBUG_SQL_', true);

 

to define('_PS_DEBUG_SQL_', false);

 

as suggested by one user but to no avail. I am running the default theme and would greatly appreciate any help.

Hello, have you tried using a different browser? What do you mean you can not edit them? Could you show me a screenshot if that would help?
