Hi, this is the website that I am developing on: http://tu-tulle.com/Presta/index.php

 

I installed a different theme to my prestashop, and I reverted to the original theme.

 

1. However, it seems like there's a broken image. May I know how to remove that image?

 

2. Also, I am unable to use live edit, as there is a technical error. Why is that so?

 

3. I also intend to replace the footer with something else (i.e. Facebook, links etc). How do I go about doing that?

The slider does not look like the default one in PS 1.5, check if you have more than 1 slider in Front Office Features as sometimes when you change themes you can end up with having modules from both themes, or try and reset the slider module or uninstall and reinstall the the slider module.

 

Not sure about live edit

 

Prestalove has a good free footer module where you can add social network icons

Does anyone have any further info on the Live Edit Technical Error issue as I have this same problem. Thanks :-)

Not sure what version of 1.5 you are using but try replacing the FrontController.php with the latest one from the SVN.

Or download the latest version of Prestashop 1.5.2 and copy the FrontController.php from there.

Thanks for the response tdr170. I have just upgraded to the 1.5.2 version this hasn't helped. Not sure what the SVN is sorry.

Give this a try use load the file I have posted here to your classes/controllers folder using your FTP program.

I changed the extention to .txt as the forum will not allow upload of php file just rename back to .php

Ok what was the situation that caused the sign in issue, do you get a message that the password is incorrect.

No there is no message stating error or that anything is incorrect.

 

The email and password fields just become empty of the text I've written in.
