jbarrick
How can I add additional fields to those available for CSV import? I need to add a lot of products but need to include the carrier as a field which is not currently listed as available for me. I would also like to be able to include a field like MSRP price as well if that were possible. Thanks in advance for your help with this.

jbarrick
So is this so impossible that no one has any theories? I really can't afford to assign that one-by-one individually.
Guest
It continues to amaze me how limiting the CSV import is. We "only" have 1000 products. But now we want to use multishop to set up a "wholesale" site with reduced prices but only if the customer buys over 100 of each item. We can use minimum quantity but this can only be set manually Amazingly poor
jbarrick
I sure could use some help with this.
DBMAN
Just discovered I could use this help too. I have a unique shipping issue to deal with and there is a field in shipping that is not on the import field list for some reason. Seems to me that all the table fields for an import should be available and the user should choose which to use/not use. Not a deal breaker but the idea is to import products to eliminate hand editing.

Guest
I did ask an independent developer about this who said it is more than possible, but they would have to charge to develop the system. It was not worth it for us
jbarrick
Is there a way then to change the carrier of several items at once after they have been uploaded? As it is there really is no point in having the CSV import if you have to edit each and every product one-by-one. There has to be a way. Elise B.
Is there a way then to change the carrier of several items at once after they have been uploaded? As it is there really is no point in having the CSV import if you have to edit each and every product one-by-one. There has to be a way. I also am frustrated there is no carrier option for csv import. But please check out this free script: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/185401-free-script-product-mass-edit-category-multi-edit-order-edit/ It can help with a lot of mass editing. But I believe the carrier input is one of the few parts that requires a paid plugin. However you can purchase the plugins individually and they are not too much.
