Click "Check Out" and Error Page with Friendly URLs v1.5

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a probelm where everything is working except when you click the Check Out button on the cart the /order page fails to load, however only with FRIENDLY URLS enabled. It brings up an error page in every browser. Its not a prestashop error page, just a could not load one.

In Firefox it says,

"The page isn't redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

In IE,

"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage,

  • Internet connectivity has been lost.
  • The website is temporarily unavailable.
  • The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
  • The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
  • There might be a typing error in the address.
  • If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section."

Any ideas as to what I may have done to mess up the Friendly URLs?

It is working now after turning off "Automatically redirect to Canonical URL" which is found below the SEO URL part.

This is workoing for me, however the error of "URL rewriting (mod_rewrite) is not active on your server or it is not possible to check your server configuration. If you want to use Friendly URLs you must activate this mod."

Even though it is working with SEO URLs
