Ok i would need a module for the banner which can offer a nice fade in / fadeout effect...so that the client can manage it from the backend... I have used almost all the free modules available here but nothing seems to be working... Can any of you give me any tips.. Currently i am using a module called Banners....but it is only giving a loading image all the time... Help please..
Dh42
If it is using jquery, it has a built in fade function that you can attach to images or layers.

Dh42
By banner, do you mean slider? If you are using something based off of nivo or one of the other popular code bases, they have fading functionality built-in. What slider are you using? vekia
default slider in prestashop 1.5+ is based on bxslider. You can change some properties to get "fadeout/fadein" effects. You must edit .js file and change "mode" value to "fade"
trsakhilk
I am using the module Banners..it is based on nivoslider..the problem is the images are not loading...only the spiral loading image is being shown...
Dh42
It would seem that that you don't have the images in the right path if the images are not loading and you are getting the jquery loading symbol. Where do the images need to be and where is it putting the images?
trsakhilk
Nope...the images are there..when i check the source code the paths are all ok...so i am a bit stumped at the problem..i also thought that at first...
