Cart Checkout and Contacts pages not working

Hello,

 

This is my first time using prestashop and I've been experiencing several problems. I've gone through the user guide but cannot find the answers to my questions.

 

We've just launched our online shop however when adding products to the cart it is not possible to check out. When clicking the button, the page keeps redirecting until a message error from the browser appears saying it is not possible to reach the page.

 

The same happens with our contact form. I've gone through all the modules and configured the contact information but it just doesn't work.

 

I asked the theme author and they answered: "About your redirecting problem, this has nothing to do with the theme, and the problem is most probably wrong configuration of Friendly SEO url's or htaccess or cache."

 

I don't know how to change the configuration of Friendly SEO urls or htaccess in order to make things work.

 

 

Also I do not know how to configure credit card payment, and where to introduce our company details in order to receive payments.

Try switching to the PS default theme and see if the problem persists. This may help you narrow your search for the problem.

No, you are just switching themes momentarily. Once you test the site you can switch back to your custom theme.

 

You should always have a backup of your theme any way
