bruce-rez
I have the same problem and I get this error: Database Server is not found. Please verify the login, password and server fields (DbPDO) I am installing the Prestashop 1.5.3 in HostMonster (Hosting company). Very dissapointing, spent 3 hours without any result. That should be very easy.

Sparc
The problem is gone. All I did was copying and pasting the password for another time.

vekia
hello thanks for information so as everyone see - the most important thing in this case is usage of the valid login, password and other stuff related to the databases. Well, prestashop installator works well, we have to be carefully when we willing the forms during the installation process regards
