nmarino
I just added a new product and tried listing it in a couple categories. I got an error saying This field friendly URL is required at least in English (English) The only way I got past that error message was to go back to the product list and then back into the product listing. Now, when I go to associations the only one showing is home! I tried clicking on expand all but that didn't help any. Is there something I'm missing? The categories are all showing in the category section and on the website itself, but I just can't assign the product where it needs to go. nmarino
A little bit of an update. I've added four products recently. Two worked great, two did not. On the two that did not, I get the error above. When I click on "Associations" the only category I see is home. If I click on "save and stay" the other categories appear, but if I select either of the ones I need I get the error about the URL is required to be in English. I don't want to add a bunch of products if this is going to keep happening, but I literally have hundreds of pages of parts and accessories to add to the site. Does anyone have any ideas?! irrelevant
I am getting the same errors. Everything used to work fine, created a multi-store, and we are trying to add products just for the new store. Click edit a product, go straight to associations, no categories showing. Click "save and stay", categories appear. Click Save, get "This field friendly URL is required at least in English (English)" .. Product names were typed in (not pasted as per the linked post) and there IS a value in the friendly url field if you go look at it.
