Memory Exhausted + Error 500

Hello,

while working with Prestashop I noticed that my FO wasn't working (while the BO was okay). When I went to index.php it showed this message:

 

memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted

 

To solve the problem I already:

• increased the memory limit to 128M in the config.inc.php file but it didn't work
  
• then I downloaded the php.ini file from THIS post and I put it in the root and in the admin directory but still nothing
  
• at the end I created a blank .htaccess file where I wrote php_value memory_limit 64M
  

 

 

And now even the BO isn't showing. In its place I get a "500! Internal server error". Also, while browsing my files with filezilla I saw that my themes weren't there (except for the default one). What is going on?

I'm losing my mind, please send help or coffee Pretty please.

 

 

My version of Prestashop is 1.5.0.17

It seems that your .htaccess is not updated. First, disable friendly URL and then go to the languages tab. Disable and then enable a language if yours to update your .htaccess file.

I can't access my BO(I get the 500 internal server error) and the friendly URL option was already disabled because my server doesn't support it

 

 

I can't find the htaccess file anywhere, in fact I had to create it myself.
