Top menus not showing prestashop 1.5.2

Hello Team,

is there any known bugs with prestashop 1.5.2 when adding or creating new category to show in the top menu ?

 

Installation of prestashop 1.5.2 runs fine without errors.

After creating a category as parent, my aim is to see it in the Top menu bar but in vain.

 

Do you have any idea ? or maybe I am not taking the right steps.

hi i have same problem its installed but i cant get it to show up in 1.5.2 i think it it is to do with a module added on but not sure or maybe to to with the hooks it is hooked to 2 places i am clueless to the coses of the problem some one please help

Hello all, on a fresh install of version 1.5.2, if you add a category to "Home" you then need to go to Top Horizontal Menu and manually "Add" it to the home. Attached is a screen shot of how I added my newly created "Dog Stuff" category into the Top Horizontal Menu

As mentioned, once you setup your new category, go to Module menu (Prestashop bar under Control panel) > select Module and search for " blocktopmenu " > go to settings and here you can add manually your menus to the top bar and remove what you do not need

HI thank you it help me find the problem , my problem is to do with the mic slider which is in the same position the menu shows up if i disable it is thier any

thing i can code so both show up on top? i am very new to this so hope small code change? in either the slider or topmenu css?
