ctini Posted October 28, 2012 Share Posted October 28, 2012 Hi, is there andy disadvantage installing the store on www.mydomain.com/shop/ vs installing the store on www.mydomain.com We have the old store under www.mydomain.com but the url of the products are not well formed, so we will use 301 redirect. Is better to put the new store directly on the root of the domain or wen can install under a subdirectory and using rewrite url to avoid showing this wwww.mydomain.com/shop/products and show www.mydomain.com/products?
