Adapting modules for 1.5

I once developed a few simple modules for my own use based on some examples I found. Now I have upgraded from 1.4 to 1.5 and they no longer work.

 

So now I am looking for a description of how modules for 1.5 are different. Can anyone help me?

Also the developers guides has some good pointers in what's changed for 1.5 modules. The main thing is 'context', you would for example no longer access the cookie variables directly, same with customer etc.
