I have 1.4.9 and i copy all file 1.5. when I launch the installer with the new file version 1.5 (I tried 1.5.017, 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 always the same problem) I get this inscription: Warning: You cannot use anymore this tool to upgrade your store. You already have PrestaShop version 1.4.9.0 installed. But i can install 1.5, i w and installation files, are the 1.5 ! I do not want a new store 1.5, but I have to update the old 1.4 what happens? barefoot Posted January 14, 2013 Share Posted January 14, 2013 I think I had something similar and it maybe because you cant detect the latest version. Probably because some setting (I think it is called) allow_url_fopen is not on. If you host your website on a shared server like me, your web host will not allow or change this for you as it is a huge security risk for shared servers.
