How to allow customer to convert loyalty points to voucher?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've looked everywhere to figure out how this works, but can't see to track it down. My customers have loyalty points showing in their My Account, but there is no option to convert them to a voucher.

The message next to their points state says: "Awaiting Validation". How do points go about getting converted to vouchers in 1.5.1?

Thanks so much.

The customer needs to go into their account, then convert (FO - log in - My Account - My Loyalty points.  This will automatically create a price rule - cart rule for the customer to use.  Also check to make sure you have a valid order; the module doesn't like invalid orders in my experience.

I have done this onn a fake account that already has some diffeern vouchers, but cannot see where to reddem them.

Woudl anybody be so kind to explain?

Hi all.

The steps for using this module are:

1. In modules/ loyalty [...] you need to select the desired option for the loyalty points validation. In my case I use the "Delivered" status as a point validator.

2. After you changed the client's order status to delivered, he will have the option to convert the points into a voucher which can be used in the cart.

3. If you have merchandise return active, the voucher will not activate until that amount of time has passed.

4. After that period of time, the voucher will appear in the cart, as long as the customer is signed in and he will be able to simply click the voucher he will want to use.

Simple as 1-2-3 ... ah... and 4 ;)
